Sky News host Alan Jones says putting Joe Biden in the position of “leading the world’s democracies” is “elder abuse” and there must be a “presidential resignation” soon.
“China is militarising ports across our region. It has invaded Taiwan’s airspace. What did the leader of the free world have to say in his first address about any of that? Nothing,” Mr Jones said. “And no mention of Israel, with reports in the last 48 hours that former Secretary of State John Kerry, now Biden’s Climate Change Tsar, dished details of covert Israeli actions to the Iranians. “And you mean to say this bloke, Biden, isn’t cognitively delinquent?”
Mr Jones pointed to a video grab from President Biden’s address to Congress where the president appeared to stumble over his words and lose his flow of speech. “Putting Biden in this position of leading the world’s democracies is elder abuse. His incoherence is not new, but it surely can’t go on – there will have to be a presidential resignation shortly. “If we don’t think the free world is in a mess, we are bad students of the current international situation.”
Meanwhile, here in America, the Emperor’s nakedness is being revealed in the National Enquirer, a much maligned publication that’s often out there first with the real news.
Great piece here about the 25th Amendment.
The outcome of a move on Biden under the 25th Amendment is no different today than it was three weeks ago. What’s different now, and led me to the views I expressed yesterday, is the fact that Dementia Joe can no longer be trusted by the Democrat Party and the media to not crater any hopes the party has to improve its political position in the next 12-36 months.
Don’t believe me? How about the media that put Joe in place?
Joe Biden’s approval numbers are slipping. The majority of surveys show Americans believe the nation is on the wrong track. Democrats fear the White House has faltered in getting out its message on core agenda items.
And that was before the horrific scenes began to unfold in Afghanistan.
So begins a new story out in the Democrat Party house organ Politico this morning.
One of the links is to FiveThirtyEight’s newest approval numbers showing Biden’s “approval” dropping below 50% for the first time in his presidency, with his “disapproval” rate now having moved from 36% at the time of his inauguration to over 44% today.
But, it gets worse.
Joe Biden’s greatest strength against Donald Trump in the campaign was the idea that he has been around the block, he knows what he’s doing, we’re facing this crisis with Covid, we need some basic competency back in government, no more chaos. He’s lost the competency high-marks he was getting at one time, and that’s tough to get back.
That was Chuck Todd earlier today on MSNBC, as quoted by Mediaite.
As the saying goes, “When you’ve lost Chuck Todd….” Or something like that.
At least the dependable editors of the Washington Post could be counted on to back the Team Dementia in its first moment of real crisis:
President Biden’s blunders in what is — suddenly — a Taliban-dominated Afghanistan may be measured in many ways. One is by searching the sorriest episodes of U.S. foreign policy history for an analogy. Former defense secretary and former CIA director Leon E. Panetta drew a comparison with the Bay of Pigs, the 1961 U.S. attempt to overthrow Cuba’s Fidel Castro, which ended with hundreds of CIA-backed invaders killed or captured after President John F. Kennedy denied them air cover. More here
